Connection for the Lord Ministries - Greg's Corner

Open auditions are being scheduled for the Connection Singers 2012 season.  Don't miss out on this wonderful music ministry.  We will have two groups once again next year.  JV Team (7-9 grade students) & VARSITY Team (10th grade - college age students).  Go to Connection Singers and submit an application online.  This is the first step in exporing the possibilities of becoming a Connection Singer.

Christmas is upon us and then we bring in the new year.  Can you believe how time flies?  Looking back on the year I often ask myself...was this a good year?  I think so - It was good in so many ways...sure we had our struggles but overall in my eyes it was a successfull year.  Most importantly - was the ministry pleasing to the Father?  That is the question we must all ask on a personal level.

Once again I would love to schedule a visit of the camp.  Come see me.  Please keep CFTLM in your prayers and ask us how you might be able to volunteer.

The Praise Gathering was so much fun.  A special "Thanks" to all those that participated.  Every singer and every instrumentalist did an outstanding job.  This event officially ended the 2010 Connection Singers season.  Now we begin recruitment for the summer of 2011.  Strong possibility that we could have 3 groups next year.  To God be the Glory!

Like I said March has been a good month.  A special thanks to the many volunteers who helped with the clean-up process of the old school.  Wow!  Have you ever seen so many tapes?  We have accoplished so much and I thank God for surrounding me with many fine people that give of their time and resources for the cause of Christ.  I pray that you all have a wonderful week celebrating the Risen King...Jesus.  Happy Easter!

Connection for the Lord Ministries recently purchased an old retired school building with 28 acres.  This new location is just 1/2 mile from the South (original) campus.  This new property has more flat areas for building and recreation.  The existing buildings will be cleaned and gutted before renovation takes place.  March has been a good month for many volunteers helping with this process.  Much has been accomplished but..."We've Only Just Begun"... say that should be a song!
